BB^protect - Brandenburger Pipe Parcelling

BB^protect  is a highly resistant UV-curable semi-finished product (prepreg) with a glass-fibre reinforced web suitable for pipe parcelling. UP resin is used for the impregnation. The material can be cured with UV lamps or exposure to sunlight; layer thicknesses of up to eight millimetres can be cured. The cure time for a wall thickness of one millimetre is just one minute.

BB^protect provides optimal mechanical protection for pipe parcelling and is completely waterproof. The slight shrinkage of the material during the curing process means that BB^protect will adhere to almost any pipe surface. The pliability of BB^protect makes it very adaptable and provides excellent compensation of surface unevenness. Furthermore BB^protect can be used to connect different materials, is resistant to chemicals, and is completely waterproof.

In situations where high resistance against indentation, abrasion and impact is a must, BB^protect provides optimal protection.

Available dimensions:

• Prepreg width: 100 / 200 / 300 / 600 / 800 mm
• Each material layer is approx. 0.8 mm thick.
