Potential applications of BB^protect

BB^protect has a variety of potential applications. In addition to mechanical protection of welding seams and factory-applied coatings on steel and plastic piping, the following areas of application are possible:

• Horizontal drilling
• Burst lining
• Auger boring technique
• Shaft lining
• Base for pipe clips
• Ground-to-air transition points

General information:

It is the responsibility of the installer to evaluate the suitability of BB^protect on a case by case basis, taking into consideration the expected load. The applicable regulations of the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) have to be observed when coating pipes or using field coating systems for trenchless installation.
