Installation Site in Spain: UVA light-curing in Walkable Sewers

In the initial years, Brandenburger liners were only used for rehabilitating non-walkable sewers. By year 2002, we were able to install our first UVA light-curing liner to the required quality levels in a walkable sewer.

The thickest ever Brandenburger liner product was installed by our Spanish partner Age Grupo at the end of 2003 near the Portuguese border. The DN 1000 has a wall thickness of 10.5 mm. Nonetheless, this product proved to be just as easy to install and cure to the required quality levels as our other products.

In order to protect the liner, a preliner is first installed in the sewer being rehabilitated.
