Brandenburger Thermal Insulation

Solutions for metal processing

Insulations for dies and presses

During die-casting of aluminium or magnesium, or during steel processing in cold pilger rolling plants, machines are exposed to extreme thermal, mechanical and chemical stress.

Insulation technology by Brandenburger, used as pressure plate insulation and as exterior insulation for moulds, tools and dies, ensures that the processes are cost-effective: Brandenburger materials noticeably reduce warm-up and cycle times while ensuring a uniform heat distribution in the system that guarantees high product quality even in extreme thermal conditions.

Insulation technology also contributes to a marked reduction in energy costs. In cold pilger rolling plants, Brandenburger friction bearings ensure trouble-free operation and facilitate the moving of system components even in rough conditions.

Brandenburger has hands-on knowledge of the various requirements. Based on this experience, the materials are optimised for the load conditions of the individual application to ensure long, trouble-free system operation.

Our technicians and engineers will be happy to advise you.
